Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Hayley's voice, it is beautiful, but I think she has NO business at all singing opera. She gives a false image of opera. Yes she is classically trained, but In my view anyway, she puts shame to it, she needs more training.

After downloading "My Heart Belongs to You" released in Hayleys Album "Odyssey" I was hooked. These iTunes exclusive tracks are well received as a bonus to this album since her US release of "Odyssey" was stripped of 4 songs originaly contained in the original release in the UK and NZ. These tracks really bring forth Hayley's voice better than any currently on the US album. I strongly recomend her debut album "Pure" for its simplistic nature in the quality of the music and song interpretations. Its a shame iTunes doesn't currently offer her Holiday album "My Gift to You" or any videos, now released in the Australian version of iTunes.

I was touched by "Mary Did You Know?" so much I that I cried. I also recomend you get the free download "Never Saw Blue." She is an amazing soprano and any type of music listener would love her songs. Definately the best of 2006 so far.

This is a great album. Hayley has an amazingly beautiful voice and is certainly a breath of fresh air to the music world. It is nice to see someone with real talent get noticed. I hope that Hayley will do more shows in here in the United States and especially in California.

She has an inexperience in her voice similar to a youthful Julie Andrews - but simplicity and youthfulness are often tied hand in hand with tasteful beauty.
  • A great release

I was overjoyed when this release came out. I found out about this remarkable singer when Odyssey was released and I now have both Odyssey and Pure. Hayley is a pro, even at her young age. It might be because of her young age that her voice has such a quality of sweetness that I find so endearing. Some call her voice immature; how unfortunate. I have compared sound samples of same songs with other opera stars and prefer to listen to Hayley’ versions. She uses very little vibrato, if any, and her voice is gorgeous. I will be looking for other releases of her music. Incidently,Hayley’s voice is unique; it does not have much resemblance to that of Charlotte Church.
